Composition

Active ingredient: potassium iodide; 1 tablet contains 262 mcg of potassium iodide, which corresponds to 200 mcg of iodide;

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, light magnesium carbonate, gelatin, sodium starch glycolate (Type A), colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.

Dosage form: Tablets.

Main physicochemical properties: Tablets with flat parallel surfaces, white or almost white in color, with beveled edges and a score line for division on one side.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Medicines for the treatment of thyroid diseases. Thyroid medications. Iodine-containing medications.

Indications: Prevention of iodine deficiency, including during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Prevention of recurrence of iodine-deficient goiter after surgical treatment, as well as after completing comprehensive treatment with thyroid hormone medications. Treatment of diffuse euthyroid goiter in children, including newborns, and in young adults.

Iodomarin 100
Prevention of endemic goiter in newborns and children under the age of 12 years 1 / 2-1 tablet of Iodomarin; 100. Children over 12 years old and adults 1-2 tab. During pregnancy and lactation 2 tab. of Iodomarin 100.

The product is taken after meals with a sufficient amount of liquid. When used in children, it is recommended to pre-dissolve the product in milk or juice.
Prophylactic administration can last several years, if indicated, for whole life.

Iodomarin 200
Inside, after meals, with a sufficient amount of liquid. For the prevention of goiter: adults and adolescent children - 100–200 mcg/day; newborns and children - 50–100 mcg/day; during pregnancy and breastfeeding - 200 mcg/day.

Prevention of goiter relapse after surgery for goiter or after the end of drug treatment of goiter with thyroid hormone preparations: 100–200 mcg/day.

Prophylactic use of the drug should be carried out for several years, often throughout life.

Treatment of goiter: adults under 45 years old - 300–500 mcg/day; newborns, children and adolescents - 100–200 mcg/day; course of treatment for newborns - 2–4 weeks; in children, adolescents and adults - 6–12 months or more (as decided by the attending physician).
