Galstena is a complex homeopathic medicine.

Taraxacum D6 - 10 ml,
Chelidonium D6 - 10 ml,
Natrium sulfuricum D12 - 10 ml,
Phosphorus D12 - 10 ml;
Excipient:
ethanol 43% by weight.

Indications
acute and chronic liver diseases (acute and chronic hepatitis, hepatosis);
gallbladder diseases (chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, postcholecystectomy syndrome);
chronic pancreatitis.
Pharmachologic effect

It has a hepatoprotective effect, manifested in a decrease in the severity of cytolysis syndrome and intrahepatic cholestasis, normalizes the motor and evacuation function of the biliary tract, and eliminates the symptoms of dyspepsia.

Galstena has a choleretic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory effect, and prevents the formation of gallstones.

Pharmacokinetics

The effect of Galstena is the result of the combined action of its components, so kinetic observations are not possible; Collectively, the components cannot be traced using markers or bioassays.

Use

For acute and chronic hepatitis, hepatosis, chronic pancreatitis, children under 1 year of age are prescribed 1 drop, children 1-12 years old - 5 drops, adults and adolescents - 10 drops. Frequency of administration - 3 times/day. Duration of treatment - at least 3 months. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after 1 month.

For chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, postcholecystectomy syndrome, children under 12 years of age are prescribed 5 drops, adults and adolescents - 10 drops. Frequency of administration - 3 times/day. Duration of treatment - 3 months. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after 1 month.

In acute cases, the drug is prescribed every 0.5-1 hour, but not more than 8 times a day. After the condition improves, the drug is prescribed 3 times a day.
The drug is taken 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal (for children under 1 year - before or 1 hour after feeding). The drops are taken pure or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water.

For children under 1 year of age, the drops are diluted in 1 teaspoon of water or breast milk.
