Indications for use: Used to treat fresh postoperative and post-traumatic scars, meibomitis (barley), blepharitis, pyoderma, abrasions, cuts, skin integrity disorders, erysipelas and folliculitis.

Composition: Each 1 ml of alcohol solution contains the active substance: brilliant green (bis-(para-diethylamino)-triphenyl-anhydrocarbinol oxalate) 10 mg.

Dosage form: Solution for external use 

Action: Alcohol solution of brilliant green has a powerful disinfectant effect. The product is effective against gram-positive bacteria. However, its activity is significantly reduced if the wound or abrasion bleeds.

Pharmacokinetics: Brilliant green has antiseptic properties and acts quickly. It is highly active against Staphylococcus aureus in very low concentrations. Its phenolic coefficient is 40,000, indicating high antimicrobial activity. However, in the presence of organic substances, such as blood serum, its effectiveness decreases (phenolic coefficient drops to 120).

How to use: The solution is applied directly to the damaged skin surface.

Special instructions:

The activity of the solution is significantly reduced if the wound is bleeding.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
The product is incompatible with disinfectants containing active iodine, chlorine and alkalis (including ammonia solution).
