Furazolidone 50 mg 20 tabs

Orally, after meals, with plenty of liquid (100-200 ml).
For the treatment of paratyphoid fever, dysentery, acute bacterial and protozoal diarrhea:
• adults - 100-150 mg (2-3 tablets) 4 times a day for 5-10 days;
• children from 3 years old - 10 mg / kg of body weight per day (the daily dose is divided into 3-4 doses).
The duration of administration depends on the nature and severity of the pathological process.
For the treatment of giardiasis:
• adults - 100 mg (2 tablets) 4 times a day;
• children from 3 years old - at a dose of 10 mg / kg of body weight per day (the daily dose is divided into 3-4 doses).
The course of treatment is 5-10 days.
For adults: the highest single dose is 200 mg, the daily dose is 800 mg.
FURAZOLIDONE is not recommended to be taken for more than 10 days.

• Hypersensitivity to furazolidone, to the nitrofuran group or to any of the excipients in the product;
• Terminal stage of chronic renal failure;
• Lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption;
• Sucrase/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance;
• Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency;
• Pregnancy, breastfeeding;
• Children under 3 years of age.
