Snup® nasal spray dosed 45 mcg/dose

Children aged 2 to 5 years: 1 injection into each nasal passage 1-3 times a day.

Adults and children over 6 years old: 1-2 injections into each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

Should not be used more than 3 times a day.

Snup® nasal spray dosed 90 mcg/dose

Adults and children over 6 years old: 1 injection into each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

Should not be used more than 3 times a day.

The product should be used in children under adult supervision.

It is recommended to take the last injection immediately before bedtime.

Before use, it is necessary to clean the nasal passages.

Remove the protective cap. Before first use, press the rim of the spray nozzle several times (Fig. 1) until a uniform cloud of “fog” appears. The bottle with the drug is ready for further use.

When using, insert the nozzle into the nasal cavity and press once (Fig. 2) on the rim. Keep the bottle vertical. Do not spray horizontally or downwards. Immediately after injection, it is recommended to inhale lightly through your nose. After use, close the bottle with the protective cap.

Each bottle must be used individually.

After completion of therapy, the product can be re-administered only after a few days. Regarding the duration of use in children, you should consult your doctor. If there is no improvement after treatment, or symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, you should consult your doctor. Use the product only according to the indications, method of administration and in the doses indicated in the instructions.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to xylometazoline or any other component of the product; arterial hypertension, tachycardia, severe atherosclerosis; increased intraocular pressure, especially angle-closure glaucoma; atrophic rhinitis, hyperthyroidism, surgical interventions on the meninges (history), inflammatory diseases of the skin or mucous membrane of the nasal vestibule, conditions after transsphenoidal hypophysectomy, pregnancy, children under 6 years of age (for nasal spray dosed 90 mcg/dose), children up to 2 years (for nasal spray dosed 45 mcg/dose).

Do not use during therapy with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) (including 14 days after their discontinuation), tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants, other local vasoconstrictors (decongestants), as well as other products that increase blood pressure.

Carefully
Diabetes mellitus, severe cardiovascular diseases (including coronary heart disease, angina), prostatic hyperplasia, pheochromocytoma, porphyria, breastfeeding, with increased sensitivity to adrenergic products, accompanied by insomnia, dizziness, arrhythmia, tremor, increased blood pressure; patients with long QT syndrome.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy, the use of the product is contraindicated.

During breastfeeding, the product should be used only after a careful assessment of the risk-benefit ratio for the mother and child; the recommended dosage should not be exceeded. During breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before using Snup®.
