LEVOMEKOL OINTMENT

Antimicrobial medicine.

Contains active ingredients: Dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine (40mg
per 1g) and Chloramphenicolum (7.5mg per 1g)

Indications:
Purulent wounds (including those infected with mixed microflora), in the first (purulent- necrotic) phase of the wound process.

Dressings are performed daily, once a day, until the wound is completely cleansed. For large wound surfaces, the daily dose of ointment in calculation with chloramphenicol should not exceed 3 g.

The duration of treatment depends on the severity and progression of the disease.

Avoid application of the medicine in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the product, children under 1 year of age (in newborns, the biotransformation of chloramphenicol is slower than in adults)
