Tablets are usually taken orally during meals or immediately after meals, without chewing, and with a sufficient amount of water.

The daily dose depends on the severity of the condition and is determined by a doctor; often it is 1–2 tablets with meals, and if necessary, up to 2–4 tablets with each meal.

For children from 6 years of age, the doses are lower, according to the doctor’s instructions.

**Contraindications and precautions**

Do not take this medication if you have:

* an allergy to any of its components,
* acute pancreatitis or an exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis,
* suspected acute intestinal obstruction.

**Possible side effects**

Sometimes the following may occur:
* nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain,
* diarrhea, skin reactions (such as rash),
* individual intolerance to the enzymes.

Hypersensitivity to any component of the product;
acute pancreatitis or exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis;
lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption;
children under 3 years of age (for this dosage form).

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
There are no clinical data on the use of pancreatic enzyme preparations in pregnant women. Animal studies have shown no absorption of porcine pancreatic enzymes and no evidence of harmful effects on reproduction or fetal development. The product should be used during pregnancy only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

Based on animal data showing no systemic adverse effects, pancreatic enzymes are not expected to affect infants through breast milk. Therefore, the product may be used during breastfeeding.
