Use regimen

Noksivin OD mg/ml

Children under 4 weeks of age: 1 drop in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

From the 5th week of life to 1 year: 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

Noksivin 0.25 mg/ml

Children from 1 year to 6 years: 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

Noksivin 0.5 mg/ml

Adults, including the elderly, and children over 6 years of age: 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

Mode of application

Performing the instillation procedure:

Before using the drops and 5 minutes after its use, it is necessary to clean the nasal passages. Remove the cap from the bottle before use. Tilt your head back while sitting or lying down, carefully insert the tip of the bottle turned upside down into one nasal passage, drop 1-2 drops (for children under 4 weeks - 1 drop), gently tilt your head from side to side several times. Then repeat the procedure for the second nasal passage. After use, clean the tip of the nozzle and close the bottle with a lid.

The vial should only be used by one person due to the risk of infection transmission.

Duration of use

The course is no more than 7 days.

If you miss a use of Noksivin, do not use a double use to make up for the missed use.® OD mg/ml

Children under 4 weeks of age: 1 drop in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

From the 5th week of life to 1 year: 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.

Do not use
in case of hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline and/or to any of the components of the drops (see section “Composition”);
with atrophic rhinitis;
with angle-closure glaucoma;
in children under 1 year of age (Noksivin drops 0.5 mg/ml and 0.25 mg/ml);
in children under 6 years of age (Noksivin drops 0.5 mg/ml);
if you have undergone nasal removal of the pituitary gland or other surgery that affects the dura mater.
Special instructions and precautions for use
Before using Noksivin, consult your doctor or specialist.

The drops should be used with caution in newborns and infants. Serious adverse reactions (especially apnea [stop breathing]) have been reported in this age group. Overuse should be avoided.

Consult your doctor before using Noksivin in the following cases:

with increased intraocular pressure, especially with angle-closure glaucoma;
in severe forms of cardiovascular conditions (for example, coronary heart disorder, arterial hypertension [high blood pressure]);
pheochromocytoma (a tumor of the adrenal gland that secretes excess amounts of catecholamines, powerful hormones that cause high blood pressure and other symptoms);
with metabolic disorders (for example, hyperthyroidism [a condition of the thyroid gland, characterized by an excess of thyroid hormones in the body], diabetes mellitus);
with prostatic hyperplasia (proliferation of gland tissue, causing urination problems);
support with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and other products that increase blood pressure (see section “Other products and Noksivin”);
