Glycine sublingual tablets 100 mg 50 tabs

Adults, adolescents, and children over the age of three should take one tablet (100 mg) of glycine sublingually or buccally, while children under three should take half a tablet. Glycine comes as tablets or as a powder once the pill has been crushed (50 mg).

Generally healthy children, adolescents, and adults with psycho-emotional stress, stressful nerve disorders, memory loss, attention, mental performance, mental retardation, and with deviant types of behavior are prescribed glycine: For 14 to 30 days, 1-2 times each day.

With both organic and functional nervous system lesions, elevated excitability, lability of emotion, and disturbed sleep:

<p>infants and toddlers: 2-3 times daily for 7–14 days, then once daily for 7–10 days; daily dose: 100–150 mg; course: 2000–2600 mg;</p>

<p>Children older than three, teenagers, and adults: 2-3 times daily for 7–14 days, 200–300 mg daily, 2800–4200 mg course; on a doctor's advice, the course of therapy can be extended up to 30 days, and the course is repeated after 30 days if necessary.</p>

For insomnia, take 0.5–1 tablet 20 minutes before night or right before bedtime (depending on age).

For ischemic cerebral stroke, 1000 mg is recommended to be taken sublingually or buccally with a teaspoon of water within the first 3 to 6 hours after the onset of the stroke, followed by 1000 mg once daily for 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 tablets three times per day for the following 30 days.

Glycine is used in narcology to improve cognitive function and lessen psycho-emotional stress when encephalopathy symptoms, organic diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, are present: For 14 to 30 days, take 1 tablet 1-2 times daily. Courses are repeated 4-6 times a year, if necessary.
