Ointment for external and local use
Externally, locally. To apply the ointment, use a cotton swab as an applicator.
To treat influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections, the ointment is applied in a thin layer to the mucous membrane of the nasal passages.
Children from 1 year to 2 years - about 2500 IU (1 strip no more than 0.5 cm long) 3 times a day; from 2 to 12 years - about 2500 IU (1 strip no more than 0.5 cm long) 4 times a day; from 12 to 18 years - about 5000 IU (1 strip no more than 1 cm long) 4 times a day.
After applying the ointment, it is necessary to massage the wings of the nose to evenly distribute the drug on the mucous membrane of the nasal passages.
The duration of treatment is 5 days.
For herpes infection, the ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas 3-4 times a day. Duration of treatment is 5–7 days. It is recommended to begin treatment immediately when the first signs of damage to the skin and mucous membranes appear (itching, burning, redness). When treating recurrent herpes, it is advisable to begin treatment in the prodromal period or at the very beginning of the appearance of signs of relapse.
An opened aluminum tube can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 3 months.
