Triazavirin uses as a treatment of influenza for adults.

Triazavirin® has an active ingredient that is a synthetic analogue of the purine nucleoside bases (guanine), which has a strong antiviral activity.

It has a broad range of antiviral action against viruses that include RNA.

Triazavirin's primary mode of action is the suppression of viral RNA synthesis and genomic fragment replication.

Use

Triazavirin® is taken orally.

One capsule (250 mg), three times per day (daily dose - 750 mg), for five days, should be taken as soon as clinical symptoms appear, which is no later than the 2 day after the beginning of the disease.

Treatment can be continued for up to 7 days if required.
