Smecta for adults and children from 2 years old Orange 20 sachets
An antidiarrheal agent in powder form. One sachet contains 3 g of the active substance - dioctahedral smectite.
Indications:
Treatment of acute diarrhea in children over 2 years old (in addition to rehydration) and in adults;
Chronic diarrhea in adults;
Symptomatic treatment of pain caused by functional bowel disorders in adults.
Treatment of acute diarrhea:
Adults: 3 sachets per day for a week. At the beginning of therapy, the dose can be doubled.
Children from 2 years old: 2 sachets per day for 7 days. At the beginning of the course of treatment, the dose can be doubled.
Use for other indications in adults: Average dose - 3 sachets per day.
Method of application: The powder from the sachet should be diluted in water to obtain a suspension. Adults dissolve the powder in a glass of water, stirring. For children, it can be diluted in a small amount of water or mixed with food (porridge, puree, etc.).
