Orally, during meals, with water or other liquid; rectally.

Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis: 7.5 mg/day. If necessary, this dose may be increased to 15 mg/day. Depending on the therapeutic response, this dose may be reduced to 7.5 mg/day.

Ankylosing spondylitis: 15 mg/day. Depending on the therapeutic response, this dose may be reduced to 7.5 mg/day.

For patients with an increased risk of adverse reactions, it is recommended to initiate treatment with a dose of 7.5 mg/day. For patients with severe renal insufficiency on hemodialysis, the dose should not exceed 7.5 mg/day.

Adolescents

The maximum dose for adolescents is 0.25 mg/kg.

As a general rule, this product should only be used in adolescents and adults (see Contraindications). The maximum recommended daily dose is 15 mg.

Rectal suppositories are recommended at a dose of 7.5 mg once daily. In more severe cases, suppositories at a dose of 15 mg may be used.

Because the risk of adverse reactions depends on the dose and duration of use, the product should be used for the shortest possible duration at the lowest effective dose.

Combination use. The total daily dose of Movalis®, whether administered as tablets, suppositories, or injections, should not exceed 15 mg.

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients. There is a possibility of cross-hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs;
A history of asthma symptoms, nasal polyps, angioedema, or urticaria after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs;
Peptic ulcer disease/perforation of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage or recent;
Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis in the acute stage;
Severe liver failure;
Severe renal failure (unless hemodialysis is performed, creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min, or with confirmed hyperkalemia), progressive kidney disease;
Acute gastrointestinal bleeding, recent cerebrovascular bleeding, or a confirmed diagnosis of a blood coagulation disorder;
Severe uncontrolled heart failure;
Pregnancy;
Breastfeeding;
Perioperative pain management during coronary artery bypass grafting.
Children under 12 years of age, except for use in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (if this indication is approved).
