When applied locally to a wound, it has photoprotective properties.

Indications
- wounds (relatively "clean") or phase II of the wound process, including thermal burns and mechanical injuries
- photodermatoses
- bedsores
- diaper rash grade II
- abscesses
- furuncles
- erysipelas (in the presence of extensive bullous elements)
- radiation skin lesions (prevention), radioepitheliitis
- late radiation lesions of the vagina

Storage temperature not higher than 15*
