Antimicrobial product.

Contains key ingredients: Dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine (40mg
per 1g) and Chloramphenicolum (7.5mg per 1g)

Composition

1 g of balm contains: Key ingredients: chloramphenicol (levomycetin) – 7.5 mg; methyluracil – 40 mg.

Excipients: polyethylene oxide 1500, polyethylene oxide 400.

Main properties: A homogeneous mass of white or white with a yellowish tint color with a slight specific odor.

Botanical group Agents for the support of wounds and ulcerative lesions.

Indications: Support of purulent wounds (including those irritated with mixed microflora) in the first phase of the wound process, trophic ulcers, bedsores, irritated burns, furuncles, carbuncles.

Contraindications: Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Psoriasis, eczema, fungal skin lesions.

Special precautions The use of the product may lead to skin sensitization, accompanied by the development of hypersensitivity reactions upon further use of this product externally or in the form of systemic products. In the presence of purulent or necrotic masses, the antibacterial effect of the product is maintained. With prolonged use (more than 1 month), peripheral blood counts should be monitored. Avoid contact with eyes.

In case of overuse, adverse reactions may be intensified. Prolonged (more than 5–7 days) external use often leads to contact sensitization. 

Adverse reactions The use of the product may cause sensitivity reactions, including skin rashes, itching, burning sensation, local swelling, hyperemia, angioedema, urticaria, dermatitis; general weakness is also possible. In such cases, discontinue use of the balm and consult a doctor.
