Lemon Balm Herb - Melissa herb

Melissa herb is a traditional phytotherapeutic remedy. Phytochemical analysis of the herb Melissa officinalis revealed a large number of synergistically acting bioactive compounds, including flavonoids (quercetin, rutin), rosmarinic acid, gallic acid, etc., which have powerful antioxidant properties. It contains essential oil, vitamin C, tannins, oleanolic, succinic acids and etc.

Melissa exhibits mild analgesic, hypotensive and mild hypnotic effects, has anticonvulsant properties, and is used for various heart rhythm disorders. Melissa herb is used in the treatment of neurotic spectrum disorders as a sedative. Melissa herb is also used in the treatment of insomnia, and vegetovascular dystonia.

Indications
Neuroses, neurocirculatory dystonia of hypertensive type, mild form of arterial hypertension, mild forms of coronary artery disease, tachyarrhythmias; acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases, dyskinesia, dysbacteriosis, fermentopathy, flatulence; acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory organs (bacterial and viral origin); dermatitis accompanied by itching, eczema, trophic ulcers; menstrual disorders, menopausal disorders, pregnancy toxicosis; immunodeficiency states (as part of combination therapy).
