Dosage and administration
Before analysis, the kit components and test samples should be kept at room temperature (+18-25°C) for 5-10 minutes.

Open the package of the strip, tearing it along the slot, remove the strip.

Serum, plasma and venous blood:

Pipette 1 drop (~40 µl) of serum (plasma) or venous blood into the sample tube and add 2 drops (~80 µl) of dilution reagent.
Lower the strip vertically into the tube with the analyzed sample with the end with arrows.
After 15 minutes, visually evaluate the result.
Using capillary blood directly from the finger:

Lay the strip on a dry, clean horizontal surface.
To obtain capillary blood, treat the finger with a disinfectant wipe and pierce it with a scarifier. Position the finger pierced by the scarifier so that the blood drop is above the absorbent area of the strip (below the line bounded by arrows). Allow 1 drop to fall on the absorbent area.
When the blood is absorbed, add 2 drops (~80 µl) of the dilution reagent.
After 15 minutes, visually evaluate the result.
Do not interpret the result later than 20 minutes.

Registration of results is visual.

Positive result. The detection of two lines of pink-violet color in the test zone (test and control) indicates a positive result of the analysis, i.e. indicates that the analyzed sample contains antibodies to HIV type 1 and/or 2.

Negative result. The detection in the upper part of the test zone of only one line of pink-violet color (control) indicates a negative result of the analysis, i.e. indicates that there are no antibodies to HIV type 1 and/or 2 in the analyzed sample.

Wrong result. If there is no pink-violet line at the control level, the determination must be repeated using another strip.

All components of the kit in the concentrations used are non-toxic.

The components of the strips do not contain the HIV virus or its components that can lead to infection.

When handling the kit, disposable rubber or plastic gloves should be worn, as human blood samples should be considered as potentially infectious, capable of retaining and transmitting HIV, hepatitis virus or other infectious agents for a long time.
