Furacilin 0.2% jar ointment for local and external use 25 g is a product with an antimicrobial effect. An antimicrobial agent, unlike other chemotherapeutic products,, causes conformational changes in proteins and other macromolecules, leading to cell death. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is used to treat purulent wounds, bedsores, burns and frostbite of II-III degree, minor damage to the skin and mucous membranes (including abrasions, scratches, cracks, cuts). The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 2-3 times a day. The amount of ointment applied depends on the extent of the lesion.
