Taken orally, preferably at the same time of day.

1. Essential hypertension: 5 mg (1 tablet) once a day. The optimal effect is achieved after 1-4 weeks of treatment.

2. Chronic heart failure: therapy is started with 1.25 mg per day with a gradual increase in dose to 10 mg depending on tolerability.

3. Patients with renal insufficiency or the elderly are recommended to start with half the standard dose.

Taking Nebilet is contraindicated in the following cases:

hypersensitivity to nebivolol or auxiliary components of the product;
liver failure or significant liver dysfunction;
acute heart failure or episodes of decompensation;
cardiogenic shock;
sick sinus syndrome;
AV block II-III degree;
metabolic acidosis;
bradycardia (less than 60 beats/min);
arterial hypotension (systolic blood pressure below 90 mm Hg);
bronchial asthma or bronchospasm in history;
untreated pheochromocytoma;
severe peripheral circulatory disorders.
