How to take the course and use

Firstly, Polysorb is always taken in the form of an aqueous suspension, meaning the powder is mixed with 1/4 – 1/2 glass of water and never taken dry orally.

Secondly, the amount of powder to be taken depends on the body mass, meaning one needs to know the approximate weight of the adult or child who will be taking it. Overusing is not possible, which alleviates concerns when determining the use.

1 teaspoon of Polysorb "heaped" contains 1 gram of the product.
1 gram is the most recommended single pediatric use.
1 tablespoon of Polysorb "heaped" contains 2.5-3 grams of the product.
3 grams is the average single adult use.

Constipation rarely occurs, to avoid it, one should drink more water. Sensitivity reactions are possible. With prolonged use (more than 14 days), there may be a disruption in the absorption of vitamins and calcium, which is corrected by taking multivitamins and calcium. Polysorb is taken either 1 hour before taking products/food or 1 hour after taking products/food.

Regardless of the indication, the product is always mixed in clean room temperature water (the amount of water and the product varies by age).

In addition, breast milk, juice without pulp, cranberry juice, or lemon juice can be used, or lemon juice can be added to water, etc.

For infants, a smaller amount of water, 15-25 ml (as opposed to the recommended 30-50 ml), should be used to mix the product, and the remaining water volume (up to 50-100 ml) should be given to the child. In adults, the product is mixed in 1/2-1 glass of water before administration.

While taking the product, it is advisable to maintain an increased fluid intake (if there are no restrictions from the doctor) - up to 2.5-3 liters of water per day.

Contraindications
Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase;
gastrointestinal bleeding;
intestinal atony;
individual intolerance to the product.

Side effects
Rarely - sensitivity reactions, dyspepsia, constipation.

With prolonged use of the product Polysorb® MP for more than 14 days, there may be a disruption in the absorption of vitamins, calcium, therefore, prophylactic intake of multivitamin preparations and calcium is recommended.
