Composition

Active substance:

dexpanthenol; 1 g of the product contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol;

Excipients: Euxyl® PE 9010 containing 90% phenoxyethanol and 10% ethylhexylglycerin (calculated as phenoxyethanol), DL-pantolactone, ceteostearyl alcohol, cetyl phosphate potassium, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, lanolin, purified water.

Dosage form

Topical cream.

Main physical and chemical properties

Cream from white to almost white in color, homogeneous consistency, with a mild odor.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Agents promoting wound healing (scarring).

Indications

The medicinal product is used in the following cases: for preventive care of dry, reddened skin or skin with cracks; to accelerate healing and epithelialization of the skin in minor injuries (small burns and scratches); for skin irritations (e.g., due to radiotherapy, phototherapy, or ultraviolet exposure); for diaper dermatitis; for chronic skin ulcers and pressure sores; for anal fissures; for cervical erosions and after skin grafting; for care of patients’ skin during and after local corticosteroid use; for preventive care of breasts in breastfeeding women, as well as for treating nipple irritations and cracks.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to dexpanthenol or other components of the medicinal product.
